Mistake #1 - Placing the Wrong Price on Your Property

Your best bet is to ask your realtor for the most recent information regarding property sales in your community. Often neighbors overprice their homes, or other homes are grossly underpriced short sales. Unless a property is under contract, it has no bearing on your value.
